Privacy Policy

Humaura is built so that your personal information stays with you.
What we collect
Humaura has no account, no advertising and no tracking, and does not use Apple’s advertising identifier. To learn which features help people and where the app gets in the way, it sends usage statistics to Google Analytics for Firebase: which screens are opened, which tools are used, which subscription plan is chosen, renewed or cancelled, your design type, authority and profile, and how certain your birth time is — never your name, birth date, time or place, the people you add, or the text of your decisions and questions. These statistics carry a random app-instance identifier and basic device information (model, iOS version, language, country). They are pseudonymous: not linked to your name or Apple Account. You can switch them off at any time in Settings › Help improve Humaura.
Why: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the app (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Google LLC processes the data on our behalf under the Firebase data processing terms, including transfers to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. Statistics are kept for 2 months. We do not operate servers of our own that receive your data.
What stays on your device
The names, birth dates, times and places you enter, your decisions, check-ins and settings are stored on your device (in the app’s private storage, shared with Humaura’s own widgets). Charts, transits and the Guide’s answers are calculated on the device. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Optional iCloud backup
If you turn on “Back up to iCloud” in Settings (it is off by default), this data is also kept in your own iCloud account so a new iPhone or your iPad can pick it up. It goes to Apple’s iCloud under your Apple Account, never to us, and you can turn it off at any time.
Place search
When you search for a birthplace, the text you type is sent to Apple Maps to find the place and its time zone, under Apple’s privacy policy. Humaura does not receive or keep it.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment details.
Sharing
If you share a chart, the link or image contains only what you choose to share (a name, birth date, time and place) and goes wherever you send it.
Children
Humaura is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
