Privacy Policy
Lunar Calendar: Best Days (“the app”). Effective date: October 9, 2026. Applies to the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Android versions.
Data we collect
Your city, favorite activities, crops and journal entries are stored only on your device. They are not sent to our servers and are not shared with anyone. All astronomical calculations run on the device. The only data that leaves the device is anonymous usage analytics described below.
Location
If you tap “Detect automatically”, the app uses your approximate location once to find your city and calculate moonrise times. The location is not stored beyond the city coordinates saved on your device and is never sent to us. City search text is sent to Apple Maps (iPhone) or the Google geocoder (Android).
Calendar and notifications
With your permission the app can add an event to your calendar (write-only access) and schedule local reminders. Nothing leaves your device.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your payment details; the app only checks whether your access is active.
Analytics and advertising
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features people use and how the subscription screen performs. It collects app interactions (screens opened, activities viewed, onboarding steps), purchase events (plan, price, trial start or renewal), an app-instance identifier, device model, OS version, app language and an approximate location derived from your IP address by Google. It does not collect your name, e-mail, precise location, city or journal contents, and the data is not linked to your identity. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID), do not track you across other apps or websites and show no ads. Data is processed by Google under the Firebase privacy terms and kept for 14 months.
Deleting data
Long-press a journal entry to delete it, or remove the app to erase all data.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
